NEX Developments is a Calgary-based construction company focused on residential building across inner-city communities and surrounding areas. We specialize in single-family homes, semi-detached projects, small multi-family developments, and select acreage homes - delivering each project with a focus on planning, execution, and long-term value.
NEX was created to bring together real-world experience in construction, finance, and real estate into a more structured and disciplined approach to building. Budget & Sourcing
Project budgeting is a critical element throughout the process - from approximate budgeting at inception based on an understanding of a client's wishes and requirements, to temperature checks throughout the design process so the client stays aware of the budget as the plan evolves. Once plans are finalized, a specification is completed and final pricing is prepared and presented by NEX. Ongoing value engineering is integrated throughout the NEX design and procurement process.
Construction Delivery
NEX has a robust construction workflow that includes site protocol, safety, and cleanliness, trade orientation at the start of each respective scope, and detailed quality assurance sign-offs at the completion of each trade's work to ensure workmanship meets NEX requirements.
Communication & Support
Client communication throughout the entire process is a critical part of the journey. This is supported through a cloud-based communication tool that gives clients visibility into project costs, change orders, project schedules, and upcoming tasks, while also allowing them to communicate directly with NEX in one place. This centralized system helps facilitate access for everyone involved and allows the full NEX team and leadership to monitor and manage the project effectively.
